Who do these Terms and Conditions apply to?

• These terms and conditions apply to the Mileage Reward product and are offered by Car Care Plan Limited.
• These terms only apply to those who have selected Renault Insurance’s Mileage Reward when purchasing their annual insurance policy and have been sent the confirmation with their policy documentation. These apply in conjunction with your annual insurance policy terms and conditions.
• This product is only available to retail customers purchasing a new Renault [MODEL] model from a Renault Franchise Dealer.

How does the rebate work?

• You should declare your expected mileage when obtaining an insurance quote just as you would in any other case.
• At the end of your policy term, you will be entitled to a rebate from Renault Insurance that will be calculated at £25 for each 1,000 miles your vehicle’s recorded mileage is below 10,000 miles.
• Mileage Calculation: The mileage for your policy term will be calculated based on the first mileage reading received and the final mileage reading received prior to the conclusion of your policy term. This calculation will determine your mileage usage. For example: If the first mileage reading states 50 miles and the final mileage reading prior to policy conclusion states 8,025 miles, the total miles driven during the product term would be 7,975 miles. In this case, a rebate of £50 would be due.
• The maximum rebate you can receive is 50% of the annual motor premium you paid (net of any discounts or rebates) including any additional premiums or return premiums during the policy term. Any optional products or add-ons you include are not considered part of the annual motor premium.
• You do not have to pay any additional premium under this product if your mileage is over 10,000 miles. This does not affect your obligation to notify us of any changes in your expected annual mileage which could result in a change in your premium.
• Your rebate will be paid to you within 30 days of your policy expiry. This will be done via refund to the selected card used in the process of initial payment for your Renault Insurance policy. In the case where you opted to pay by direct debit and your refund exceeds the deposit you had paid, we will instead refund to the bank account details held.
• If you cancel the policy or change to a different vehicle during the term you will not be entitled to a mileage rebate.

By way of example only, if your mileage at the end of the policy is 3,500 miles you would receive £150 rebate as long as you had paid more than £300 for your annual motor insurance premium. If you had paid less than £300 premium you would receive 50% of your annual motor insurance premium back. If you drive 12,000 miles you will not receive a rebate but will not have to pay any additional amount under this product.

General

• By selecting this product, you agree to Renault sharing the mileage data from your vehicle with Renault Insurance throughout the life of your annual motor insurance policy, which is a requirement in order for us to provide the benefit of Mileage Reward. We will only collect and process the data required to fulfil this product and will not use the data for any other purpose.
• We may contact you during the policy term to update you about your mileage and potential rebate.

• Nothing in these terms and conditions changes the coverage or obligations you have under your annual Renault Insurance Motor Policy.
